clutch sizes

Hey,

Tried a search, but couldn't find it.

Can you fit a gze (8.5") clutch into a silvertop gearbox using the silvertop flywheel? Or won't it fit....

Are you meaning using the pressure plate and clutch plate? If so the bolts mount in different area on the gze flywheel and it won't work as the pressure plate is different in construction to that of a silvertop 20v one

Bugger, ok.

Was hoping to be able to use the bigger clutch in my 4agte. Im using a gze with a 20v flywheel, and 20v g/box. I guess ill have to get ahold of a heavy duty clutch in the 20v size. Any good ones?

bah, its costing me enough for the turbo set up (doing it properly, rebuilding the whole thing).

My gearbox is on the way out anyway.... Ill drive it 'till it dies :P 8)

Accutly, I may just jam the half worn out clutch back in, and by the time the clutch wears out, the gearbox should be fully rooted :p.

And btw, why is it going to kill the diff, shouldnt it just spin one wheel?
