difference between 1300 and 1600

ok i got given a motor that was out of an '86 corolla and the guy said it was 1600 but i cant really trust him so is there a way to tell if it's 1600 or 1300? all help will be great thanks

Check the build plate it should state cc and if engine is 2A/2E (1.3) or 4A (1.6)...Also check for engine model on the engine block (just under #4 exhaust port, next to bell housing)
