lightning audio amp protection light??

anyone have any idea why this light would be on on the side of the amp??

any help appreciated!

check for stray wire strands and all connections. When does the protection light turn on?

mine came on, cause was a loose wire the bridged the + & - terminals at the amplifier output 8)
