Hi, im a really a mitsi fan but my old man recently got a corona and since my car doesnt start and is in my garage waiting for some tlc I use his car for running around etc. Its got a fair bit of power behind it for a so called grandad car but im just wondering how much. What engine is in it? I knw is a 3...something :oops:

its a nz new 1996 sedan, baseish model, non vvti

im considering getting one myself cos its eats my mates dohc vtec civic (was so funny to shut him up bout tec this tec that haha @#$% hondas :P)

anyway if someone could let me know thatd b wicked, cheers

I think you'll find it's a 3s-fe. The 96 models got around 145hp IIRC.

All st191 nz new Coronas had this engine. Same engine as used in the first Rav4's too.
