Yeh ive heard if you keep the air filter pristine and give them regular oil changes, and dont give them arse holes all the time.(which most probably cant afford to do these days anyway :cry: ) they can last a while. This came from a friend of mine who used to rally an rx3

Out of all the rotaries I've owned, only one went pop, and that was due to me abusing it (kept leaning out up top, I was gonna get round to it :lol: )
I actually found my first S1 to use about the same in fuel as my 2l MK3 Cortina. I think the thirstiest was my 12AT Cosmo, but thats not surprising given they have a pair of 880cc injectors, and the car isnt that light.
An RX-2 sedan with a 13B turbo would give relatively good fuel milage, as well as being godawful quick.
