Removing stock exhaust, would car get more top end?

Postby diss7 » Wed Jan 18, 2006 5:30 pm

Car in question is a 96 glanza turbo.
The downpipe has been gutted, so this will stay on, but am thinking about taking the rest of the exhuast off for Night drags this Friday. I realise there would be a massive loss in low down power, but I'd expect some gain from high in the rev range.

you may gain a bit, but it also might overboost (duno about glanzas) but my subaru went from a stock 7psi, and could overboost to 15psi just due to exhaust.
