Please tell me what this is..

Hey,

Can someone tell me what this sensor is? And from there where does it go...

It's off a 4agze from an aw11.

It solid on the end, im thinking maybe temp? But, there is already water and air temp and all temp sensors i've seen have a "bit" that sticks out into the flow of the substance being measured.

Prehaps its a oil temp? Dunno.

Its got a single wire comming from it.

Water temp switch. Either turns on the fans or the overtemp light. What color is the plug?

Not sure on the colour of the plug on the loom, the loom isn't with me at the moment so I can't lay it out to check.

The plug on the sensor is white as you can see tho.

And thanks, that sounds about right, im guessing that it was hooked up the black box that controls the cooling fans.
