Al - Your car for a while was making a hell of a crack when you took off, seemed kinda weird to me. Monster reckoned release bearing as well.

And even when they're "new" they can still stuff out. Ryan had one die after about 50km, just luck of the draw really I guess. Give me a yell if you want a hand with the box removal.

I benchpressed mine up from my not-so-manly chest, and mounted it. I literally felt like my head was going to explode, or my eyes pop out of my head or something. I was so relieved when I felt it slide into place; I was just about to give up and cry before that happened.

Well, you're manly too, but in a different way.

Found the problem. El cheapo clutch plate decided after under 6 months of use it would break a piece off right by one of the springs, causing the spring to pop out and f$%k the pressure plate as well

That's why you don't buy crap stuff for your car, but then even if you buy brand name good stuff, you'll just ride the crap out of it anyway, resulting in a change of clutch every 6 months anyway.

So might as well stay with the cheap stuff huh?

I was assured this clutch plate was a good'un. My very mild car decided to eat it for lunch.

Was going for a genuine Toyota disc when I was told this would be fine.

Time for a Spec Stage 3+ Have to order it Monday

You should've learnt off me by now that a lot of vendors are talking out of their bumhole just to sell you some stuff.
