another emergency question for amp rem

if ive given the head unit constant power do i have to install a switch inline on the amp rem to manually turn off the amp???
The list so far

Do you mean that you need to manually turn the headunit on and off, and that it's not wired to the ignition aswell? If so yes you will need a switch on the remote so that the amp isn't always on

Your car would be like an aeroplane, having two switch on TWO switchs to listen to music... (assuming that you constant supply headunit has a switch too.)
