by the way, how to get to the "new" windmill? I know the one that goes pass the Gorge and cross the bridge and up gravel road...

How about the closer? one!?

The one up the gravel road is the old windmills, you just go through the Gorge then accross the Balance bridge at the end of the Gorge. After that turn right (Oppisite to Balance Cafe) and you're on your way.

To get to the new ones you just go to Ashhurst then up the Saddle road and there are sighns Pointing out where the lookout car park area is.

Go to repco and buy a stereo wiring loom adaptor for $30, then you can put the standard one back in easily when you sell it.

Also vinegar hill would be a good idea, ive only ever been over there at night following jimmy (well trying to :? ) and have been told that when i see how close i was to the edge that i wont do it again!!

Truenotch wrote:Does the cruise have to go anywhere? cause we could just go for a nice, big, realxing drive over Vinegar hill, stop at the lookout and have a break or something (someone bring a BBQ) then follow the road down untill it connects up to SH1 and then follow that back to Palmy. It's a good drive, with good views and is a great bit of road aswell.

Otherwise out over the Pahiatua track, accross the long straits (Balance road or whatever) then back over the saddle (stopping at windmills for photo's).

Any of that sound good?[/i]

Either sound good, like the sound of vinegar hill better probly though

Ok so who's keen for this still? Let's get a list of people down and then sort out when it's gonna happen from there. We can let non-toyota's in aswell to get numbers up if that works?

Definately keen, I think my olds have a small crappy BBQ we could borrow since my BBQ wont fit in brads wagon!!

Yea the non-toyota drivers can tag along behind (please nobody remind us about the cruise up saddle road where we had a certain orange integra leading  )
