Ok this probly abit of a wierd question for a toyota forum, but basicly what i want to know is to do with a quad throttle body setup + a 12a turbo engine.
Blacktop 4AGE throttles are 42mm as far as I know. if thats right then x4 that should be enough flow for the power the engine will be making.
What i was going to go with was an Injection Pefection set up, which is basicly a setup for rotaries which uses a plenum followed by two throttle bodies (ie 51mm) with secondary injectors bang on the top of them. I was planning on going with 600cc primarys and 1000cc secondaries. The turbo is gunna be a big T4, most probly a .60/1.06 AR job with a big external gate + all the other stuff. ECU is a LTX-8 with quad coil packs and fuel system is a holley blue + carter + surge tank.
Instead of using the double throttles below the plenum I had the thought tonight about using quad throttles after seeing somone talking about quad throttle bodies from motorbikes on ausrotary.
Im guess it would be possible to fabricate adaptors or runners to go with the toyta throttles but how would i be able to setup the 600cc primaries and the 1000cc secondaries on this setup? putting the primaries on the inside two throttles and the secondaries on the outside two wouldnt work....
what size are the stocko blacktop/silvertop injectors?
Thanks for the help
