top mount studs on coilovers slightly out, wot can i do???

just tryed putting the rear coilovers in my ae111 levin, after spending like an hour trying to put the left rear in i have discovered that whn u get one of the studs through the hole the other to are a few mm's out!! can i just drill the holes out slightly bigger to make them go in or not a good idea??

try turning the stut hat first , and if it doesnt fit any way then slot it but put a washer over where u slot it so u dont get pinged on ur warrent 8)
wat type of stut are u tryin to put in ?

they are a nex coilovers, the right rear went in ok its just the left hand side, and ive tryed every way to get the left side in but the studs are defintly ouut a bit, so drilling the holes out a bit is sweet?

If you can you should try RMA it, if you bought it locally i'd definatly do this. sounds like there measurements are slighly off

probaly can but will have to wait many weeks for replacement as the guys out of stock, is drilling out the holes ok, or should i be advised not to do it?

How many mm are you talking phatman?
If it's only one or two get the rat tail file out. The flange on the nut will cover your work and if you do it evenly the strut top will still be centred correctly.
