Tell tail signs of a small port redtop 4AGE

Hi everyone.

What's the best way to determine if the engine in a car is a small port red top (versus a big port).

I've found an 88 AE92, the owner has had to replace the engine and thinks it may have been from a newer AE92.
If the big port has been replaced with a small port. How can I tell?

count the runners on intake manifolds (tube thingies), sarkplug leads are covered by plastic cover, the intake manifold does not has TVIS writing on it, instead it has small ribs on top, on the back of the head, gearbox side you will see a tube going from head to block...

Also measure the injector spacing, smallport is equal spacing, largeport
has a much larger spacing between no 2 and 3

Hard to miss if it's there,

hard to make it look like it's there if it's not,.
