Any alloy fabricators?

Postby sergei » Fri Jan 27, 2006 8:13 am

Hi, I have ST165, for which I need a special bit fabricated out of alloy:
it is the bit which goes between throttle and original intercooler.
I can provide original item to copy.
In fact I can courier it to you if you are not in Auckland with an extra bag, and do a bank deposit for payment.
Anyone can help me here?

here is the stolen pic:

Whats wrong with yours? Just go pilfer one off a wrecked SW20, it looks identical to what you've pictured there.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

Mine one is made of rubber so when I put silicone hose on it and tighten it up it squeezes a fair bit (I have ST205 intrecooler so I can't stretch it on it)... Unless some one has metal one who wants to sell it to me.

you could probably make one very easily of steel. The MR2 one will be too long and hit the intercooler I suspect.

there is nothing a hacksaw can't fix ;), as long as MR2 one is the same base and made out metal, I would go for it...
I don't like steel because it will rust (mild steel) and looks horrible...
