What sub would you reccommend for under $200

Phat beats and out-of-luck crooks. Again, read the Disclaimer first.

Id say a 10" soundstream sub. I got 2x 12" 700w in my boot and it blows the sh*t outa it. No need for anything more than a 10" unless you wanna be rediculously loud.

This IS biased, but id steer clear of Sony altogether... i have nasty nasty nightmares about Xplod gear...

actually im in the same boat, out of the 5 sony products i have seen going 5 of them are broken in some way (amp chanels broken headunit doesnt play some cd's broken midbass etc)

i would reccomend a 10inch DD sub and you could get one for that price, talk to steve from hotwire. though this is the lowest series in the right box they are capable of some decent noise, Clarkie used an 8 inch (of the same lowest series) and got 139dB out of it. thats louder than most 12inch subs would go. and out of an 8 inch.

Just mke the box yourself though, save some money. Just make it outa wood and use soundseal glue and gorilla glue to close it up... Make sure there isnt any sawdust in it though.

Depends if you're after volume or quality, I have an Infinity 10 which including the box was under $200 from Paul Money, it blows the old Clarion 15 that I used to have away for volume and quality and it doesn't take up my whole boot...
