I wonder if Mobil Mosgiel will get it??

but we all know that all the oil companies are completely seperate and competitive with one another.... Its just coincidence that they all put up there price 6c at the exact same time!!

in theory the petrol companies should have a full three month supply of petrol for the entire country... so any price fluctuations should take three odd months to hit us, not instantly as we get now.

you'll also notice that price drops occur on the crude oil, don't show up for about a week in the retail gas that they sell... they're ripping us off, and there is nothing that we can do about it.

On that reasoning, if the price of petrol for them went down and they waited 3 months then everyone would be fairly angry about it

btw, got money yet?

exactly, but it should be either instant up and instant down, or x days delay up and x days delay down.

nope, had a bit of a job scare last week, was told not to be there from monday afternoon till a meeting on thursday... all sorted, but money is a tad tight due to not doing much in the 3 days off.

$&#$% you guys talk some shit

i bet mobil doesnt get 98 in the south island

2nd NO not all gas in nz is the same.
the base product is the same from the same place. BUT the additives are different. so mobil is different from bp and shell etc.....
98 octane is 100% imported

saying bp fuel is dirty is crap.... but mobil does seem to be the one that runs best in my levin. the difference between mobil and shell is amazing.. i wont go near shell now.

Yup, 4x114.3

And I want heaps for them :P More than Pervert wants to pay anyway. They're like brand new with equally new directional Toyos, new centre caps etc

Just buy the whole car :) Needs some panelbeater expertise underneath for warrent stuff but I'll probably get that sorted if no one wants to buy the car. Make a stupidly high offer on the wheels though :)

gee revhead, i thought everyone on toyspeed new the dunedin forum was shit talk central

But about the mobil in the south island, im just going off what the chick at the mobil down here in anzac ave told me. Its the one just buy the only tarmac super special in the otago rally, might make sese to you cause i vagually (sp) remember you having something to do with rallying.

I was suprised when she told me too, becasue mobil head office told me they had no plans about 6 months ago. But they had all the flyers & associated promtional crap for it. So i guess time will tell. Perhaps some one from chch could go to a biggish mobil station up there to see if they have it yet & then we'll get an idea when its coming to the rest of the south?

I also thought most people new that all the petrol companies added their own additives & detergents to their fuel to make it there own special mix. Hence some people notice differences, ie my fx doesnt like shell or bp much, but loves mobil, challenge & caltex. Guess it depends on the car & how u drive, also how long the stuffs been sitting in a tank.
