D2/K-sport make a set for AE86

there are plenty of guys in the US making sets for TE71/2.

is that in the north island or south island, i know d2 for ae86 will fit but not the adjustable camber plates.

Just out of interest - how much is a set likely to cost? I got a TE71 as well that I would like to sort out suspension wise.

D2/K-sports are around the $1600 mark. check the K-style web site.

F.B.I Performance do D2's for $1295 I think,and K-Sport for $1600.Dodsons do BC Coilovers for $1250.

Not sure if they have them in stock,but you could always ring and ask.

Just curious, these kits front and rear, or just front? If rear is included what reinforcing is recommended for shock towers?

On the K-style site the D2 Racing Coilovers have a note saying "NOT RECOMMENDED FOR TRACK USE" :lol:

If Jairus doesn't recommend them for track use guess I wont be wasting my money on them. Been giving these some serious thought however;

i think is going to be cheaper just to fabricate s13 coilover suspension to fit in my car, im going to look into it this week. because im not wasting $1600 on d2s if their no good for track use

sorry guys, i never mentioned anything about the quality, was only asked their availability. had a look at a set of D2 AE86 units a wee while back, and would rather let the dog chew on them or build my own and possibly pay a bit more. the rear 'coil-over' was actually an adjustable shock with a separate spring,and unless the rear shock mount is re-inforced, chances are the pins will bend. a true coil-over set-up needs to be mounted above the diff, not behind it.
