Ae86 heater core/matrix (same as any other toyota?)

Postby ~SlideWays~ » Wed Feb 01, 2006 12:32 pm

Hey,

My heater core (heater radiator underdash), is warped. Does anyone know if there is another toyota that would have an identical one?

Or even if anyone has one in a pile of bits somewhere?

My dash is hanging in pieces until I can get this sorted! I've had an estimate to get it recored but its $200, which I really can't afford atm. Concidering one from Pick a Part would be $20 or so.

Out of a 1983 ae86.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah thats the problem though because old toyota's are hard to come by. I'm hoping that there might be a common toyota fwd or something that will have the same one. That way I could get one from Pick a Part.

lol is it still in the car? Its a cnut to get out if you haven't already.

I can get a blingy new core and welded for $200 so how much is a 20 odd year old one worth to you? (assuming its in good condition 8) )

I dont know if I can be arsed pulling apart various dashboard's at pick a part just to find they dont match....
