Do you have an alarm installed in your car?

Ive noticed quite a few cars around dont have alarms, Hence the reason for a number of good cars being stolen!

It may seem annoying to some spending 200-500 on a decent alarm with immobiliser but at the end of the day its best not to have you favorite 'toy' stolen!

I may have to put one in mine soon

I have a DUEL Immobiliser.

No idea what it means, but it must make my car twice as hard to steal as you have to mobilise not one, but two immobilisers.

Some guy that worked for NZPC & was trying to sell a GTZ AE101 Rolla Wagon said the Wagon had 3 immobilisers in it, but the alarm company would not tell him where the third one was as it was a trade secret.
I asked him if they were possibly just saying to screw some extra $$$ out of him. He said it was true.

Now I want 3 immobilisers and a whacking stick.

First thing I did when I got my car was put a 5 star Mongoose alarm in it. Duel Immobliser, knock sensor, glass break sensor, microwave sensor. Yes I am paranoid. But who wants there car stolen?

I dont have one in either cars But both will get Dynatrons, plus one will have an aftermarket ECU, so will also be able to disable that

Its probably not the best idea to post on an internet forum that you dont have an alarm; especially when have pictures and details of your car and your location.

Well i have my cars locked in a garage, stereo removed etc. And anyway we are moving far away

I'm something similar.

But missing a couple sensors. I'm gonna have it redone soon and have the alarm in the Hiace moved to the Simca.
