short version:
rebuild with 4agze/silvertop rods 4agze pistons arp rod bolts TRD head gasket, make manifolds bolt on turbo wire in link/motec/megasquirt etc etc done!!

And some decent injectors, standy ones wont fuel much boost :D

Thats an interesting comment, I have driven a few 20v and 16v 4ages, and non compare acceleration wise with a 4agze...well from what Ive driven anyways. Id have to admit a 165/175mm pulley makes a big differance thou.
I jumping on the Turbo bandwagon ultimately for topend power but will Im gonna miss the off the mark acceleration and torquey bottom end S/C gives with an oversize pulley, and that blower whine just sounds f#*&n awesome!.
If there was a screw charger kit that was fairly reasonably priced I would go down that route but there aint so turbo is the only other option for now.

I would think that a turbo would be better than a screw turbo... They do produce boost in a similar manner (more revs more boost) rather than the roots style boost from idle...
