ST185 GT4 Big brake and suspension upgrade ?!

HI Guys , im currently looking at up grade the suspension and my brake system on my st185 GT4 , dont know where can i get suitable parts in the country and what will be available or will st205 easily to fit onto a st185 , has anyone been through this , any suggestions will be much appreciated :wink:

I belive st205 brakes fit and are what you want.. but getting your hands on them are the problemo. Good Luck

to use st205s on the front you need to machine down the rotors to 300mm, and you need to tap a thread into the caliper mount holes.

Also the center hole on the st205 rotors (front only I think) are 1mm larger than the st185 ones, so you need to machine it out a few mm and get a ring made up make it sit nice

cheers for the helpful info man , any chance you know where i can source a set of coilover suspension for st185 at all :)

no but I can tell you it's a waste of time unless you're making it a dedicated circuit car.

The whiteline "works" handling kit should be everything you need and more

:o thanks man , yea im really aming for circuit thats why i really need a good set of coilovers and bigger brakes , thanks heaps for the great help bud :wink:

Tein do a set for the ST185, so do a few of the other big japanese suspension people I believe. There is also the option to convert your existing struts to coilovers
