Mods needed to a 20v GTE manifold?...

Postby peas » Sun Feb 12, 2006 8:30 pm

Evening...

Just wanting to know what needs to be altered on a 20v manifold to fit a GZE in an AE92. I was told that bonnet clearance height was also an issue on these cars. Or a place that does a decent job of making them for a reasonable price...

I was told that the 20v manifold can be altered to fit a GZE. I was wondering what exactly needs to be done to accomplish this or is it better to get one specifically made up for the GZE? Any suggestions for where it can be made (In Auckland preferably) for a realistic price?

as in extractors? or a custom turbo manifold? the mounting flanges are different,

some say that the holes can be slotted but i personally have never investigated

Sorry... turbo manifold. I am looking at the Driven Performance ones but they are only available for the 20v. I already have extractors on the engine in its current supercharged state.

well the stock 20v exhaust manifold fits the 16v head if you slot the 2 outer holes.... so logic would state a turbo manifold for a 16v can be sorted in the same way.....

i little measure and look should confirm what you need to do
