have seen a few of these manifolds that Al has, they are good stuff.
you might want to add some sort of brace in there also for your turbo.

Ok, Xspower is just a brand name made up by a company in america where they stamp all the stuff they get from taiwan :D.
Most companies get their stuff from exactly the same factory and you can get brand names put on at a little extra cost.
So basically everything on trademe is made is taiwan :) no matter the brand name etc as thats just a a bling stamp on the item that might giv it 10hp.

All the recent manifolds that have been coming from taiwan have been mint, havent heard of them break yet. But when you mount up your turbo and when people do downpipes sometimes it a tight fit and there is no movement in the exhaust system (need flexi) when the engine needs to rock back and fourth this resulting is the manfolds breaking.
IMO this is where people go wrong and their taiwanese manifolds break.

ive never seen a xspower/taiwan or what not manifold not break; personally seen 2 rb20det one with just a downpipe, sr20det, b series honda manifolds break/crack, all around the collectors. you should expect a stainless manifold to break on a east-west engine without a flexi, and although its recommended , ive run alot of steampipe manfiolds without a flexi with no problems, not the best idea tho.

has anyone actually seen one of these taiwan manifolds NOT cracK?.

just look at the design.. big looping tubes.. they need a brace.. and flexi.

I have heaps of mates with the taiwanese manifolds and they havent broken, they all use a well setup exhaust system putting the least amount of stress on it.
Of course steam pipe isnt going to break, its steam pipe, stainless is much more fragile, even when you get proper ones made by performace shops they also break with out the correct procedures.

Herbert fabrication made this bling as one for this BMW out of stainless it costed like $7g and they friken broke!! twice!, thats just what you get with stainless when not enough bracing is added and dampering.

You will have to change pretty much all of those  Just have a little search. on 300cc injectors you'll be limited to about 200HP :( plus you'll need a new computer to read the boost.

You could always go rangi styles, 2bar map sensor plus 600cc injectors. Will work but timing will advance. advance timing + high compression + boost = dead engine

Just do it properly. turbo + computer + decompression. Its how its always been done and it works best. idealy forged pistons would be suited but you could get away with the 20V cast flavour, it'd be flaky though.

oh and these heaps of other crap like intercooler, plumbing, etc but you can sort those out as you come across them :D

Can someone please, for the sanity of everyone who reads the tech section, write up an FAQ of how to turbo a 4AGE, with PRICING of everything?

Its not something you want to do on the cheap, unless you like rebuilds.

Yes you need a fuel pump.

Yes you need injectors.

No the stock ECU won't like it.

List goes on.
