Anth_555, the 6M is basically an early 5M with the crank from a 7M. Most 7M guys will tell you the crank is stamped "6M". This gives a little more "throw" but you have to use the 7M rods otherwise your pistons will be way too high on the block at TDC. The head is more or less a 5M unit. On www.celicasupra.com , you'll find a few instances of people who have a 6M in their cars but they are US based.
