fuel pumps suitable for 4age

Postby l1ttle_d3vil » Thu Feb 16, 2006 6:20 pm

hi there,
what would be the best sort of external fuel pump for use on a NA 4age redtop in a ke35? im using a holden VL pump on my 4age/sr cos i had one spare.

is this the most ideal and and cheapest? I have heard of people using pumps of rb26 engines [or something like that, don't know exactly what theyre out of]. are they cheaper than a VL pump or what?

the VL pump works fine on my car so if that is the best/cheapest option I will just find another one, otherwise I will go with whatever would be better.

for about $120 you can get an airtex pump,

super cheap sell them, they can be mounted intank or externally, ive used them in the past and never had any trouble.
they include mounts, fittings etc.

bnt sell them, but from memory they sell them for $200ish

Commodore ones will be well under $100, $24 if you can find one at pick-a-part.
