s13 brakes on ke25

Postby 3T-Rona » Sun Feb 19, 2006 10:31 am

i was talking to a guy a while ago that had put s13 brakes in his ae86, and said that it should be pretty much the same into a ke70 or kp61, what i wanted to know is if a ke25 is similar, would it bolt in the same????
I run the full S13 front suspension... lower arms hubs and brakes. The arms are longer so push out the trak and also give me 3 degrees camer which is perfect for drift.

Things to know...

1. You will need to shave the inner bush of the lower arms or try another bush because the S13 one is a bit fatter. Pretty easy. may need to drill out the mount hole if it uses a small bolt. again the s13 one is a bit thicker.

2. You will need to run some form of coilovers to suit the hubs. These will need to have top hats to suit your car. Maybe get some camber plates or something?

3. the nissan brake lines seem to bolt up to the toyota lines, so thats mint. Just make sure there are ZERO leaks for your own safety.

4. S13 brakes are bigger. some 14's won't fit. May need 15's

Does that help? let me knwo if you get stuck

not sure on the fitment of the brakes, but Nissan use a different flare on the ends of the rigid brake lines and will leak like a bastard. this may only be for earlier (pre-'90) models though.

Have you considered the Cressida swap on the front for the KE25 ?
