Scary stuff huh Would be interesting to see if petrol rationing will ever come about...I somehow doubt the larger countries would implement it.

I think the best plan here would be for the government to relinquish some of its greedy tax collecting practices. The price of everything seems to be going up each year except peoples salaries

I dont know, the cost p/l of fuel was about $1.30ish this time last year wasnt it? I dont think it'll get to $2, but I wont be surprised to see it peak around $1.80ish

One other thing, they say that Ethanol has a huge cropping requirement.
I've read before that a single yeild from a field producing ethanol would prvoide enough fuel for the motorised equipment used to process that field for an entire year.
