do you have paper work stating the plates wernt part of the sale as by law i think youd find if there isnt he would now be the legal owner of the plates based on the * posetion is 9/10th of the law * and that hes the owner of the car that there fixed to.

I asked to put my plate on my compnay car for sh*t and giggles, but if i did as the cars not registred to me the company could refuse to not let me have them, the fact i bought them dont mean anthing the owner is deemed by the car there registerd to i think youd find.

you retain ownership of the plates until you sell them on, weither as part of a car or seperatly, depends on whatever was agreed at the time, so if the plates werent included, then they are still legally brads.. so there shouldnt be any problem in regaining posession of them
