Sideskirts

Postby Jazza » Sun Feb 26, 2006 6:41 pm

Ive got *HAD* (i think theyre called SS3 sideskirts) on my car.. had them put on about 2 months ago. This afternoon driving home from a mates place some ****er cuts me off and forces me up on the curb (It was a skirt, or a bumper, front right panel and the possibility of further damage from losing control after that (50-60 km/h)) Tore the back of the skirt off and screwed my paint on the rest of it. Figured id tell everyone and have a cry about it... needed to vent :P

Never swerve to avoid if you're not in the wrong! Rather let them hit you and have insurance take care of the damage..

Gutted!

Yeh... i really that now. But at the time my immediate thought was of my easy to fix sideskirts or losing the front end of my car... The hassle of the insurance wouldnt have been worth the 200 bucks it will cost to get em fixed. Even so, at 17 years old paying gas, insurance, tyres etc... 200 bucks is a ****load of money i dont have
