WHAT GRADE STAINLESS 4 MANIFOLD.....

Is 316 ok for my exhaust manifold, asking before i go and get the doughnuts.

I've normally used 304, but in stainless her in NZ it's probably more the case of whatever you can get as we are such a small country & don't get half the grades/sizes you can buy elsewhere. 316 should be ok, it just work hardens easier & you'll probably find will crack easier than 304 but I could always be wrong as I'm only a toolmaker not a fabricator/welder.

if your usung donuts, its not thick enough, u want to use schedule type bends,
316 or 304, they are even available in an exhaust grade but cant remember what it is.
