Does anyone know for sure if Estimas have asymetric beam headlamps? I rang Toyota and they said they do. However Ive now checked a total of of 6 2nd hand heaplamps, ( some provided by wreckers etc) and they all have random blury beams which will not pass a WOF. Cheers

theres many differnt headlamps for those.
i think a lot are plastic which can discolour, tried polishing with brasso?

I wouldn't use brasso

Meguiers (spelling) have a product called plastix. Its a plastic polisher. We used it my my partners glanza and they came up very very well.

Ive used brasso on dads cefiro, they came up mint.

Thanks for the suggestion but polishing wont help in this case. The lenses are clean and clear.

brasso works suberb on plastic lenses.
iv yet to find anything better.

To my knowledge the only things that will produce a scattered pattern on a beam setter is a dull outer lense, like suggested, or a bulb that hasnt been fitted into the locator properly.....

Mosture or a faulty internal reflector will cause it too

is this a projector style lamp, if it is they have a beem pattern that stays mostly flat with a rise at the centre line which then heads of to the left flat.

A bit like the picture below. It's crude i know but it gives you an idea.

I have struck bulbs that have a bent filament, incorrect installation, mositure, dull lens.

Thats pretty much it.

Sometime the cut off on these headlights isn't that noticable.
