*Laws road 1/4 mile drags:

Danevirke, Sunday 5th of March 2006

NO ELIMINATIONS- run all day and just keep lining up.

Entry Fee $20

All cars/bikes must be up to W.O.F standard, helmet and overalls essential All classes welcome.

Scruiteneering from 9:30am
BBQ/drinks available

Seems like a good event if you'd like to know what 1/4 mile your car wil run and Cheap as chips aswell.[/b]

haha i used 2 b from big ol dvk, yea its a gud meet, c sum quick toyotas there tooo, hopefully the nocturnal motorsport bois will turn up, 1 of em hasa galansa running 18psi :P

Would go but gotta do the whole find a place to live in Palmy thing this weekend :(

Would love to see what my starlet (incidentially its running 18psi too) would do in a straight line. Ahh well maybe once I'm living up there :D First I'd have to change all the alignment and camber settings tho :lol:

went to the laws rd drags today. good stretch of road,no power poles/ mazda GTX dumped its gearbox oil at the start line,then a skyline blew a water hose and put litres of water there as he sat lighting the bags,so traction was not the best. I measured my wheel spin marks as 90-100m long. my best time was 13.11. good crowd there. some really nice cars. about 36 entrants. also a 10 sec R1 m/bike. headwind helped intercooler,but slowed car. gale force winds on the way home. thanks to all those who made it happen.
