Installing sunroof (Curren)

Postby Jazza » Sat Mar 04, 2006 1:02 pm

I dont want nitty gritties thanks, just a straight up simple opinionated answer.

If i was to find a sunroof in good condition for my curren.
Would it be possible to:

A) Fit it myself (i know how to do electrics etc)
B) Get it fitted (Price?)
C) Get it working in a non sunroof curren.
D) Have someone from TS do it for me for some beers :P

Wouldn't that involve cutting a massive whole in your roof though? Then the problems with water leakage etc will cost you more time and money than its worth...

Dont most factory sunroof'd cars coming with extra bracing in the roof? By cutting it you will be taking a bit of rigidity put of it. Id be tempted to talk to a certifier/LTSA etc before starting anything.
