A far better and easier option is to use ae92 struts from Trueno/ Levin as they are same measurements. I swapped my top hats over to my fxgt ones and they are shocks i'm using at the moment in my race car.
Common and a straight bolt in and replacement struts are easy to come across too :D

AE82 has a different bolt spacing on the rear hub carrier to AE92 & AE101.
Fronts are interchangeable.

Also AE82 rear struts are different size and the swaybar is connected to suspension arm not struts like in ae9X-10X-11X.

Fronts are interchangable bar top hat, the rears need to slot one hole by approx 6mm to fit 92 to 82, one catch is the 92 rear struts are longer than the 82 rears.... if your 92 struts are height adjustible then you can most likely level it out

No mine are standard. as for the front interchangable i realised this and have done so. Kind of figured it out for myself. But the rears i haven't looked into yet. Not height adjustable but i need some reasonable suspension on the car to get it running and improve handling from there.

The rears made my old AE82 sit around 5 or 6 inches higher than i wanted however that was with 400lb springs  from memory the struts were around 3 or 4 inches different in body length
