Where was Toyspeed?

On Saturday, 4th March, Midway put on a cruise for car enthusiasts.. with full police support... Where were the Toyspeed members? There was my Caldina... and Sossie's Galant (which hardly flies the flag for Toyspeed, but at least he turns up)...

We thought some of you guys might have turned up for a cruise of this magnitude... I'd say at least 60 cars.

Anyway, I do have some photos for those who missed out...

Thought it would be a bit of a wankfest myself, plus I dont have a pretty car at present (well a legal or going one) and had a headgasket on a van that was calling my name along with a sentra gearbox. Yeah, I'm full of excuses

Didn't even know about it. Not that i could attend anyway, as the Skyline needs a new gearbox.

How many Skylines/Cefiro's/Laurels turned up (don't suppose you noticed)? Can only see one Laurel and one Skyline (isn't part of SSE unfortunately) in those pics.

I didn't notice particular number of types of cars... but the pictures are pretty representative of the turn out. There was a huge mix of cars. That would have been the only Laurel (pictured)... as for Skylines, don't know.. that may have been the only one, too.

Yeah haha my brothers tezza is in 3 of the last 4 pics, I was sitting in the Bz-T wagon next to it.

Was a bit boring when we got there. That cruise had great potential though!

A cruz out to Molly Wood not something would stop what I had already planned.. Did the Jase, Craig and the rest of his crew go ahead with the Free Style?? I was in Chch so don't know what the weather was like here..

It was too wet for the bikes to land for the free-style show.. so, 'nother time for that. They were going to get people doing burn outs at the speed way, but, again, too wet... and mud was pretty sticky apparently. So we just ended up going to Waihola (where pictures taken).

Back at Midway a few guys (Midway employees or affiliates) did some burn outs round the back, while they had a BBQ on and a DJ. Was all in all a good day.

... and I will endeavour to post something next time... but I shall also remeind people... listen to the Rock... that's where they advertised.
