Postby 86_rolla » Thu Mar 09, 2006 4:23 pm

just noticed something on my wheels. I cleaned them yesterday and came home from uni and noticed something on them. It looks like water spots except they dont come off. Ran my hand across them and they dont seem to be like a chip or anything, there is about 5 or 6 with onli a couple big ones and onli on the FL wheel. Any ideas what this is or how to get it off??

sounds like what happened to my 17s ages ago

the paint/chrome/coating they use on nz made mags is in a word crap. a pebble hits it and they chip or flake off the coating

i took mine back after a month and got a new set of rims warrenty. but got told that was the only set i could get (went down a gravel road after 2 weeks of ownership first and last time i did that)
