I've never understood why it's such a big deal if you've not had sex before. It seems strange, that there's even a specific word to describe these people, (virgin).

I mean... getting laid is totally awesome of course, but so are heaps of other things. It's hardly a life changing event.
There isnt a word for a person who has never caught a wave on a surf board, done a hand brake turn, gotten piss drunk, gravel bashed a car, killed an animal and had it for dinner, or... all of those other cool/dangerous/exciting/fun things that there are to do in life.

I suppose that in the grand scheme of things however, it's a bit more vital to the propogation of the human race, than a hand brake turn for example. :D
