If you give more specific information regarding what sort of car you are talking about and what sort of carpet replacement etc you are looking at replacing yours with I think you'll find people will be able to help out a bit more in the price department.

Actually, if you look at the forum with the same name as you, I did post up a place that does carpet ;) I forget the place in Auckland's name, but there is an outfit in Aussie that does it cheaper and better quality by all accounts too.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

AutoDec are the place in auckland, theyre out east way.

Theres a place in aus where I got mine from, they advertise in fast fours and have a page with listings of all the models they supply for. (I keep telling people I will get the name but keep forgetting, ill try remember this time)

I have seen/used carpet for KE3X models from both places, I have the carpet from aussie in my car, it was about $80 cheaper landed $NZ and is finished to a better quality. It came to roughly $200 landed over here, this price just includes carpet as you install it yourself, im not sure what an upholstrer would charge to install it.

When you buy it theres 3 styles, Loop, Plush, and Superplush. Dear god dont get superplush, its horrible and will make copious amounts of fluff for the next 10 years.

Yup that looks like the place, not 100% on the name but would have to check my invioce. I went for Charcoal Plush from Aussie, its very very suiting to my car, as it has a black/grey dash etc. My mate got superplush from autodec, in charcoal also and it makes heeapps of fluff, and looks tacky, its just too plush.

My stuff from aussie required half the trimming and tucking to make it fit than the autodec stuff, but there is a couple of week shipping delay.

Ive had mine in my car for about 2 1/2 years, admittidly its only done 10,000km's since then, but it still looks brand new and doesnt wear excessively where people put thier feet etc.

If people are actually interested in seeing a photo of a slab of carpet in a car I could grab one of mine and post it up.
