Looks good, does your stock guages really read up to 300kph?? :P

or do you have to read it that your doing 50kph when that says your doing 100 or something to that effect anyway?

Looking dam good tho, Might have to look into a set of that myself at a later date, Nice red backing or something.

Stock dials go up to 280km/h as it's a NZ new model. 300 was added as it would 'just' fit in. Gotta have a least one little bit of pure bling on my car after all

Cool, an NZ new GT four.

Is that one of the five that exist?

Or is that (5 only story) referring another model of GT4?
Or is it an urban legend?

It's true. 5 NZ new Group A WRC spec cars were imported by Toyota into NZ back in 1994. They came in via OZ where they were badge Group A Rallye on the tailgate and also came with a numbered plaque. These were omitted for the NZ models.
Only 4 left from what I understand. I have one, Running Rich has another and a mate of mine has the other red car (no sunroof on his). I think that the other car might be on the SI.
I was very lucky finding this one. A case of being in the right place at the right time. Came with service history and all the original manuals and paperwork. Was also completely stock - not any more though

Alright, I've got one question for you.

How to you get the needles off, to overlay the gauge faces?

I've got some gauges that I want to get the needles off, but I really dont want to break them. :?

Do they just pry off or something?
I dont want to damage them.

I just used a pair of teaspoons and levered the needles off. Certainly worked okay for these gauges.

I'll second that method, has worked well on my evo, and my caldina. Putting them back on in the correct location is another kettle of fish..
