Anyone know approx costs of shipping a car to christchurch from auckland?

you will want to shop around, it can vary...its the ferry trip which is the killer usually interisland. I knew someone who had it done for $600 a while back, but have no idea if that is a good price or not.
Get a plain ticket and make it a holiday!
