just wondering if any one has successfully installed lambo style kits,

if so which kit did you use and how happy are you with the kit its self,


Door popper kits (removing the door handles etc)

well is really nothing to do with the question but just a question of interest might sound abit dum lol ~

so say if u have a lambo door kit and it open vertically rite ~ ? wat if ur car roll over ? u cant get open the door and get out ? hahaha ~ 8O

oh of coz i kwno u can break the window ~ just asking that if the car roll over does it mean u cant get out wiht out breaking window :P haha

If you rolled a car, more often than not the doors won't open anyway, as for the original question I wouldn't be brave enough to trust anything with the weight of my doors :wink:

hmmm thats a good point actually,

with the 9's in the doors there gonna weigh a fair bit, i wonder if you can get automatic ones

I've done shaved door handles, but put a push button on top of the door rather than using poppers. Talk to a certifier first as the rules get interpreted differently as to whether you need mechanical opening and you will need cert if you shave the handles.
As for the lambo door "kits" I'm yet to see a kit that makes the car easy to get into and out off when open, most try to take chunks out of your head. If you are doing it for visual impact, it is getting pretty old and everyone will know you just bolted it on anyway. Personally I would look into suicide doors using the mirrors as handles, but not sure if the pillars on your car would take the weight. I did seriously consider this myself, but I've already blown way to much money.

is there a bolt on kit for the ae101 fxgt or is it the universal kit ?

i dont think suicide doors suit the shape of the car.... but thanks for the idea:)
