They all have advantages, well RWD and 4WD do anyway for me. Launching is fun in a 4WD but drifting is fun in a RWD.

definately rwd. more fun then fwd / 4wd, less power loss than 4wd, and less likely to pop then 4wd when launching.

I'm just gonna say front wheel drive cos no one has said it.........it's also good for scaring yourself on wet roads and gravel.........and doesn't make a bad cup 'o' tea...of course in reality no wheel drive can be fun too(put your car in neutral and roll down a hill......scary....oh no brake fade.....wheresa second gear arrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!)

rwd they can launch faster than 4wds :!: , there is road legal 7second cars in nz, lol all of them rwd and all of them are blown v8's  . and because you cann do real drift  , and because motorbikes are rwd, in my opinion nothing else counts, fwd is just poos and

Pfft thats a stupid argument dude. If you spend thousands and thousands of dollars on massive tubbed wheels, and massive strengthend diff / drive train to handle the power needed to turn them, then ofcourse you'll get good traction. There are FWD drive dragsters getting same sorta traction with similar setups.

We are comparing cars running street trim on street tires. In this situation 4wd wins hands down.

Put some nice street legal tires on your 7 sec car and see how much traction it gets
