to keep or not to keep??

Postby Rollin' » Fri Apr 18, 2003 11:34 am

I need sum advice, should i keep the plastic stip on the boot of the AE82 FXGT that says "corolla" when i get it resprayed, or should I remove it and plate up the lock as well as fill over the holes??

I cant decide, it would look good shaved (we all love shaved)
but the badge has a good balance in the composition of the boot.

help me decide!

I hate seeing cars without badges where they obviously had them factory.

i am not ashamed of owning a corolla, what an insult!

the peice in question isnt realy a badge, its a long(450x30x25) plastic thing with the boot lock in it

i thought if i shaved the lock, then thatst 1 less lock to be brocken into,
and to shave the lock, i have to remove the plastic thing its mounted in.

would you like a pic to see the item in question all yo non AE82 fxgt owners???

well its done. the badge remains, but with new lick of paint.

i decided i liked the font in which "corolla" was written in, rather cool font

but the "fxgt twin cam 16" writting went, so its all nice and white. :)

thanks for all your positive input
