I was a little disapointed in the quality of the show compared to last year. Loved that red supra, however it looked like it was rushed and un finished? I was disappointed as seeing all the sony stereos in cars  Other than that the dyno wasnt too bad to watch. A few real cracker cars, loved the chopped roof on that evo3, something unique. $16 to get in, fark what a ripoff 8O Also that orange Civic with S15 Silvia lights, funky!

Which red Supra? Not Mad Baz surely?? Did anyone see what he got on the high boost run? Best I saw was 348kw on 14psi 8O before it melted the wastegate line.
I was a little disappointed at paying $16 to see not many cars. Some cool cars, some average ones. That orange Civic on 20's was nuts! So much carbon fibre!!!

Best car of the show was deff maz's Supra and the chopped evo 3 , both looking damn good. Also agree the $16 was a rip , it was less than that last year and had almost twice the area to look around.

I guess the supra was pretty sweet. Once he took the shoddy looking carbon fibre off the engine it was all good. Rip out that sony stereo though!!! The events centre is alot smaller than Turners which was a bummer. The supra was nuts on the dyno.

Yeah, only reason he had that is cause the new turbo doesnt fit under the old carbon bonnet 8O

Did you all know, the roof chopped evo also has suicide doors? Its cool , but sadly for the owner the chrysler parked two spots down looked just the same.....

all I can say is that If I hadnt got free tickets I would have been piseed........

I mean, I have never seen so many subarus in one place!! not even at a freaken dealer ship.... And the shark!!! omg burn that repco cpa catalog..... and a yellow ford telsta.... wtf..... I really didnt see anything that I thought wow, that is the shit. Best car there was probably the Honda on 20's, and if you know how much I hate hondas, thats a massive compliment.......

Also, nothing like a pulsa on g zeros, I thought i was back in 2001.... What else was ther... oh yeah, i loved the Drapers ta22 with nos every where. that car is cuper clean, but looked better on the black 17;s and the fact that the engine was busted didnt do much for the selling point.... I honstly cant remeber any other cars that were there, except the Rev 13b altezza.....

Yea I was real gutted not seeing that there. I definatly agree with your first post. That yellow telstar, shark, and that [NECRO] mitsi. Also that black pulsar. Does that mean I can put GZEROs on my car and enter the show? 8O No offence to the owners of the cars and autosalon runners but the show blew major time, i mean comon some of the cars hadnt even been cleaned? Not going to waste my money next year. Lets hope 2hot2handle is better!!!

Warwick, did you see what it made on high boost? Did they even get a high boost run out of it?

yea wasnt what i hoped for... best cars there in my opinion were mad baz's supra, the orange civic, the ford ute and the chopped evo.

big ups to those who entered tho, being there on friday night and seeing how much effort other people were putting into their cars was pretty cool. didnt actually get to the show itself cos i was in recovery mode all weekend

maybe those of you who complained about the quality of cars should enter your cars next year :?: just a thought

The mad baz supra was mint.. didnt it do quite well last year? gutted for the chopped evo 3 owner.. his day-day car got stolen at the autosalon from the car park.. 15 cars on saturday were stolen as well... shocking! I have say it, the ossie dancing hoes were horrid, and couldnt dance.. not that that has much to do with the quality of the cars.

That was quite a let down at the event, with the cars being stolen. I can understand it wasn't the events security's responsibility.. because the car park is owned by Wilson's.. it's just downheartening to know that wellington has got just as bad as Auckland for things like this... and the show will suffer for it.

I also had a laugh at how poor the dancing was  Although I don't think that was the point to many of the people there.

Damn that sucks about those cars getting stolen, pisses me off. Also pies, my car wouldve fitted right in  But this is supposed to be the AutoSalon...Looks like the christchurch and auckland shows are alot better quality than the wellington one. Good on the people for entering their cars, without them it wouldve been even worse.

Lol! the downfall was the security at the event I reckon (talking about the stolen cars). There was only 1 guy down there who was at the booth looking at the cameras (which weren't even on!)

That is shocking for Wellington!

The show was definitly a let down however there were some mint cars on show...just stink that many of the cars / vehicles they promised would be there didn't show up :?

Also you'd think that if 15 cars were stolen on the saturday.. that they would up the security for the sunday.. but maybe thats just too logical.
