ae92 headlights

my head lights have stopped working.
AS far as im aware they are the only things not working.

i have had a quick check of the fuses, but nothing blown so far...

any suggestions???

loose connection or dirty plugs?
blown bulbs?

would be odd for both of them to blow? and full beams dont work either

would be odd..but weirder things have happened :lol:

if no fuses have blown, it will be a bad earth, bulbs or a dirty connection.

will try another bulb, at least that way i can elliminate that possibility.
sucks not being able to drive at night..

i am getting 12volts at the lights... :? but no light action

tried another bulb but no luck

check your earths..make up a bypass wire, and connect to the back of the bulb, and then earth it.

if it works, youv found the problem..then just have to trace it

ive got an annoyance in my ae80 in which the lights cut out periodically. i have to get under the dash and wiggle the dash wires, specifically the headlight control wire, for them to go again.
TVIS just kicked in, yo!

all three wires to the bulbs are giving 12v, even tho high beam isnt on.

from what ive been reading one should be earth, one 12v for low beam and one 12v for high beam
