They're made in the same factory as advanti!

lol

Too many people get 5zigen and think they're JDM. Get genuine Volk, Rays, or Buddyclub.

O RLY? How reliable is your source? Besides the fact that no 5zigen wheels are the same as Advanti, they actually came from Japan (They are freight from Japan), Advanti is by YHI Group of Taiwan afaik, and they cost a good deal more.

Or is it just another myth?

Volk & Buddyclub wheels are probably double the price of 5zigen anyway.

besides, the thread is on springs..
and most 5zigen products ive seen have appeared as decent quality, im sure the springs are the same.. no doubt they are just rebranded something else anyway

could they be any worse than king springs? ...

Volk is 1.5x of 5zigen, but Buddyclub is actually same, if not cheaper than 5zigen.

5zigen make good exhausts, going by that cue, I'd say their springs won't be worse than Kings

Taken from http://www.yhichina.com/eng/MANUFACTURING/profile.asp

Apart from designing and manufacturing for major brands such as Lowenhart, Racing Hart, Yokohama Wheels, Giovanna, Konig and 5-zigen to name a few. YHI MANUFACTURING (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD. also designs and manufactures its own in-house brand Advanti Racing distributed throughout its vast network to destinations such as, Europe, Middle East, Asia and the Oceanic regions.

I stand by what I said, 5zigen are heavy wheels. Compare with a good set of Buddyclub and you'll see.

I guess it depends on what you're after I guess, function or flare.

Personally I'd rather have stock wheels than Advantis/5zigen

I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers here, I'll admit some 5zigen wheel styles are nice, but they are still Chinese made.
