ive just bout an fxgt what are some first upgrades worth doing to the motor it has an external coil would it be worth dropping in a bosch gt40 or what ever there called?

No, first thing id do is have a search as it been covered a million times, then get 20V extractors and a 2 1/4" exhaust made up for it, and then a CAI intake. Theres bugger all else that will give noticable gains and not cost a shitload.
