4EFTE - RWD

Anyone ever seen these engines in RWD config? (toyota starlet gt 1300cc turbo)

Not that I know of

I do believe you can get 4e/5e in the 4wd flavour, its still mounted transverse though.

ex has a rolla 2 with 4wd 5efe. was trying to talk her into putting the starlet manifolds and ecu, etc onto her 1500 :lol: we broke up not long after that :? :P still goes pretty hard for a 5efe though

heard of it being done all though cant say ive sen one in the flesh,

i almost planned this myself for a kp60 i had. hehe i wanted my own style of gt turbo starlet was all i dont really like them otherwise.

i thought it would have been mean, people ask what car you have, you say gt turbo starlet most people go ghey or rude a hairdressers can or get a rwd etc etc i think that would shut them up thou.

and i like the look of the ol kp hehe

Same basics as most conversions + custom bellhousing and there could be issues for engine mounting points for an engine designed solely for FWD.

Yup, there are 2 that I know of in Chch, one is a matt black '84ish KP60, the other is brown or green, was at a drift day a while back?

I had a decent look at the matt black one, pretty good setup, had m-spec GTSt brakes, stripped interior and all that, the guy said it was pretty loose! Had a funny intercooler to inlet pipe setup, went to the firewall and did a 180 degree loop into the manifold, which was facing the firewall.

Ex: 2x AE101, 5x KP60, KP61, EP71, 3x KE70, KE72, AE70, AE82, 2x TE71, AE90, AE92, ST170, plus 11 Hondas, 12 Nissans, 6 Fords, 4 Mazdas, 3 Mitsis, an Isuzu and a Lada!

yup, but her's has deep dish 16's, custom rear wing from a mazda gtr and a custom pod filter, man sounded mean, lol.
