I think youl find its not stable, it will probly be 2 ohm stereo stable, but not bridged. Most are that way.

If you have just that amp for the sub, just plug and go?
Monoblock means just a 2/1 chanel amp. Monoblocks are mainly just used to power 1 sub.

You run RCA cables from the headunit which plug into those inputs (if you have it, make sure you plug it into the sub-preout)

Then run those RCA's from the headunit into the amp.

You need 2 inputs to run one speaker, hence why yours is a 2 channel amp. It has 4 inputs, but you can run two speakers off it cause each speaker uses two of those inputs.

My guess is he's not talking about the RCA inputs, he's meaning the speaker terminals on the sub

Is it the Dual 2 Ohm, or Dual 4 Ohm version of the sub??

I am fairly sure it is the Dual 2 Ohm version

WTF are you an about??

1 speaker requires one input. If a 2ch amp has 4 rca's its usuasy for a pass throu. and a p6001 IS a monoblock with pass throu. Go to forums.nzicemag.co.nz, to many know alls round here.

If it is the Dual 2 version, then it's not really well matched to the amp you have.....
It can run with the coils in parallel for a 1 ohm load which will probably give the amp a heart attack, or in series for a 4 ohm load which will work, but isn't really making the most of the amp which is designed to make its best power with a 2 ohm load.

Have a read through http://www.bcae1.com/srsparll.htm and the rest of the bcae site if you have time.

Either a 2 Ohm Single Voice Coil Sub, or a DVC Sub with 4 ohm coils which can be paralleled so that the amp sees a 2 ohm load.

The sub you have comes in both Dual 2 ohm, and Dual 4 ohm, so it may pay to check which it is before replacing it....also if it turns out that it is the Dual 2 ohm version and you bought the sub and amp as a pair, I'd consider whinging to whoever sold them to you

RCA cables have two plugs, so plug in to two inputs? Maybe ive just worded it wrong.
