Wanting AE92 FXGT Dash - can it be done with carby?

As you can see from my sig i have a AE91. its nothing spectacular - really.

I am wanting to put the AE92 dash with tacho and all that in.

Does anyone know if its a plug and play at all?

having a feeling that what i have now wont know the RPM so the tach in the dash cluster will be useless as its carby...

anyone know?

FWIW a import AE82 FXGT dash plugged in and was fully functional in a NZ new AE82 1.3 DX carby shitta i used to own
